Very accommodating warm inviting and I would recommend it for an international party. I have not met the owners but it can accommodate 75 plus people. I didn’t imagine going to a party in a barn but it was a very experience. Thanks

With 10 years in the agrotourism Industry. I have never seen such a disorganized place as this farm. Having so many lines that stretch out into the parking area is ridiculous. Saw 4 kids almost get hit in a row! The owner definitely needs to get a grip. Before somebody gets hurt.

We rented the Culpepper Barn for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. The staff was flexible, very helpful, and the facility was beautiful. Highly recommend.

I booked this venue for my wedding, & it was lovely. The place is beautiful. The owner's really take care of it & enjoy renting it out to people. They are very flexible & will work with you.I got to walk through the venue a few times to help prepare for the wedding. They allow you to have the venue from Thurs-Sunday and turn the keys in Monday morning. You can also rent the house right next to the property if you would like. The venue also has chair's & tables provided which is super helpful. They also have some extra add-ons from other's leaving behind, like arches, bar tops, signs, etc. When booking you have a refundable $500 deposit. I really wanted to leave a 5 star but the following day of my wedding was not so great. I agreed & allowed the owners to have a charity event the day after the wedding which I really wish I didn't. Towards the end of my wedding night, I had a gut feeling the next morning wasn't going to be so kosher. I was completely right. I only agreed to the event ensuring I wouldn't have to worry & be able to "Sleep in" since I would be celebrating my marriage. The staff of the event got there at 8:30am & looked disgusted at the venue (because it was not cleaned). I was told the people would help clean up & we would not have to worry but it seems no one knew that.As more began to show up they also made comments under their breath. It was very uncomfortable. We quickly rushed to get our things out of the big barn so they could further set up.I was originally told to place our items in the horse stable. While I was going to get a u-haul to pack our belongings, a lady from the event told my husband we can't put our stuff there because they are using it.Well, it started raining & my things got rained on, some of which I had to throw away because of it.My husband got into a yelling match with this lady after she said she can't deal with "these kids".Which yes, we are younger in our 30's but definitely not kids. She also had to mention she knew the owner's son as if she could do whatever she pleased & treat others however she felt.My husband snapped & started cursing at her, which resulted in her cursing back.I then found the owner's son was on property & when trying to resolve the issue at hand he instead wanted to know who started cursing first, which I found unprofessional. Why would you pin-point that when you really should be wondering why it started in the first place. We paid to rent the space, so I didn't understand how we were getting treated that way.The event was allowed because I agreed for it to happen on my wedding weekend. When I got there with the u-haul I went to talk with the son & things were straightened out.I apologized that my husband used such language & he as well apologized for the situation. The whole thing was a mess. I felt uncomfortable & mistreated.I tried calling the owner's when everything was happening & left messages but never received a call back.I took a day to email them my experience.I expressed to never allow another event the same weekend as someone's wedding & to never place the couple in a situation to make that decision.I got an apology & the deposit back, but that's it. The apology didn't seem sincere either. They mentioned how we kept saying we had the venue until 4pm sunday(which we did not) & how my husband cursed at someone. He may have started the cursing but the lady was no different.I felt we should have been compensated for our troubles. We didn't get the same number of days as others, ours was cut short due to us agreeing for the charity event. Our belongings were also ruined due to the rain. I notice the contract itself doesn't state you get the venue for those period of days; you might want to ensure that is included & never allow another event the same weekend as yours, that is what I highly suggest. If we didn't agree to that event the following day, we would have had the best weekend ever. Thankfully everything before that though was amazing & everyone loved the venue. I truly hope the owners learned from this though so no one else has to deal with that experience
