Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Pack your patience in your suitcase! Be prepared to wait in line for the elevators. There are only 3 and because the pool is on the top floor, it takes a while for the elevators to get to the lobby and to your floor due to more than the usual stops on the way up/down. We were on the 10th floor and took the stairs quite a bit. The location is perfect, in my opinion. The nightly, live music at Neptune's Park is fun and while you can see the fireworks from everywhere, they are not too far south from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops to pick from. Our room was not kept the best. Used glasses were never removed or replaced. Leftover items in the fridge from the guests before us. Our door would not close properly, we had to pull it closed, even after front desk had been notified and sent maintenance up. And our faucet in the bathroom sink was so loose, it would pivot. I expected a lot more from a Hilton property.

Loved this place. Right on the beach next to the statue of Neptune. Summer had live music at the park next door every nite and also fireworks on certain days. At check in Cherry, was very helpful in explaining all that the hotel offers and helping change our payment. Chris was also very helpful in getting us settled in with bathroom issues to our one room. Problem was solved immediately. Catch31 is the on-site resturant, Carter at breakfast was nice and got us started out right for vacation. Happy we had a spot with a good breakfast buffet and ala cart menu. For dinner Cornelia was amazing, cant say enough for her service and upbeat attentive attitude. Family loved staying here and we will be back. Thanks again.

What a great experience from the time we drove up to the door until the time we checked out. Candace at the front desk was professional, courteous, and helpful. Our room was great, and we had two minor maintenance issues that were handled. The maid service was efficient and thorough. Highly recommend this location. The staff are truly helpful!!

Even before our stay, I wanted to recognize Mary Kelly for outstanding customer service. I was attending a conference at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront by myself, but my wife decided to join me because it is her birthday weekend and she didn’t want to be alone. I reached out to Mary in the Events and Sales office, and she was incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating. She took the time to listen, looked into available options, and was able to assist us with an upgrade. As a Hilton Honors member, experiences like this create loyalty and remind me why I continue to choose Hilton. Thank you, Mary, for your professionalism, hospitality, and kindness.

What a shame, Hilton!!!!!!! As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I normally expect a high baseline standard of cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront was a massive disappointment from start to finish. The room felt completely neglected and clearly suffered from a total lack of basic maintenance and housekeeping quality control. When I went to iron my clothes, I found the soleplate of the iron completely ruined with melted, burnt plastic stuck to it, a major hazard that should have been caught immediately. To make matters worse, the desk chair in the room was in appalling condition; the leather was badly cracked, torn, and peeling off in chunks, leaving flakes all over the place. On top of the worn-out furniture, the hygiene was unacceptable. The toilet wasn’t properly cleaned before my check-in!!! It’s extremely frustrating to pay full price at a prominent oceanfront Hilton property only to end up with dirty facilities and damaged amenities. Management seriously needs to address their housekeeping standards and room upkeep because this stay fell far below the mark. I certainly won't be returning to this location!!!

We had an incredible experience at the Hilton Oceanfront Virginia Beach hotel. The staff and meals were fabulous. Cherry was the person who assisted us with check-in. He was wonderful. It was quite a busy day for check-in and he handled things very smoothly, professionally and with a smile. We were so fortunate to be able to stay in the Presidential Suite. The views in this suite are incredibly amazing . You have panoramic views of the ocean. There is a north-facing balcony in the dining room. The living room has an East facing balcony . This suite has a king bedroom with yet another oceanfront balcony and an oversized bath including jetted tub and separate shower. There is also a guest bath just inside the hallway entry to the suite. The living room and dining room were beautiful. Also included is a Butler's pantry that has a separate entrance and is fully stocked with barware and a mini fridge and microwave. Kudos to team Hilton at Virginia Beach Oceanfront for making our romantic stay unforgettable.

I booked a discount package in exchange for going to a presentation at Hilton Grand Vacations and decided to add a night on to the beginning. I called the hotel and because I wanted to make sure we'd be in the same room the entire stay as I was traveling with my 80 year old mother who has limited mobility. At check in, I once again mentioned staying in the same room and was again assured it was no problem and I'd just have to come down and re- key in the morning. I came down to do so and was told I would have to switch rooms. I explained that I had asked about it twice and was told I had that room for the duration. I got a very "that's your problem not mine" attitude from both the front desk clerk and the front desk manager. So we packed our stuff and moved rooms. I tried not to let it ruin the rest of the vacation but it certainly put a damper on it. The rooms were clean but standard, nothing to write home about. That's all I really require in a hotel so customer service is very important to me. They didn't do anything to make up for their mistake, not even an apology. I'll never stay here again and am hesitant to stay at any Hilton.
