828 The Turn

I knew from the moment I walked into the 828 that it was the venue for us! The venue itself is like nothing we had ever toured, and Curt (the owner) was just a lovely bonus! We had our wedding in April, and utilized both the indoor and outdoor spaces. We opted to upgrade to the vintage dinnerware and added the heaters outside. Curt was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was kind, patient, professional, inviting, and demonstrated great communication throughout the entire planning process. I trusted him and his team completely, and our day was nothing short of perfect. We had a larger ceremony/reception of about 150 people, but Curt helped create a functional and cohesive floor plan that felt both spacious but also intimate. If you are looking for a clean, eclectic, charming, warm, unique, and comfortable venue, than this place is for you. If you are looking for a great team that will help guide you and your partner, offer realistic and helpful suggestions, and feel like a collaborative fried in the process, than this owner and team is for you as well! I had a wonderful time planning my wedding with Curt. We had several meetings leading up to the big day and everything came together perfectly. I shared some photos so people can see how the venue can transform!

Having our wedding at 828 The Turn was the best decision ever. My husband and I had to change our venue 2 months before our wedding and from the beginning Curt was so helpful and worked with us to help make everything perfect in our time crunch. Our wedding day was wonderful and the venue is beautiful!

We had our wedding and reception at 828 The Turn in December 2019. Wendy and Becky were wonderful to work with during all phases of planning. The venue was beautiful day of and they were so accommodating of all my request of access to the space to add my own extra touches. Wendy was there day of to make sure everything was perfect, you can tell she truly cares about her clients having the experience they've dreamed of.

Absolutely amazing experience at 828 The Turn that hosted our event this past weekend! From the moment we first spoke with Kurt, the owner, it was clear that the team was committed to making this event unforgettable. Amanda worked with us during the event to set up and make sure that everything went absolutely perfect! They went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect, from the stunning decorations to the customized chalkboard that greeted everyone at the entrance. All of the decoration and room set up was personalized for our event and they worked with us on how we wanted it set up so that it was gorgeous and worked best for our event! The attention to detail was incredible—every corner was thoughtfully arranged, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable night. The team was super accommodating and really took the time to understand our vision, offering ideas and suggestions that made the prom even more special. The personalized touches, like the handwritten chalkboard with our event name, added such a unique flair to the venue! They even had a tv that we were able to rent to display photos during our event! We also rented the outdoor space and it was incredible! It is absolutely beautiful outside with plenty of shade in the evening making it nice and cool! Also, they have a Bluetooth speaker that worked so perfect and made it so easy for us to play music! I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a venue that will go the extra mile to make your event spectacular, this is the place to be. This was the BEST event of the year all thanks to the Turn! A perfect 5-star experience all around!
