South Shore Pavilion

Gorgeous space for our 75-person wedding reception! The on-call attendant was able to bring us extra chairs on multiple occasions when they were needed. It was an unexpectedly warm spring day & the space did get toasty, but was comfortable by the time the sun was mostly down. We did have a group of kids come in through the service entrance - we believe that a vendor left the door propped open, so just be vigilant that that entrance remains locked if not attended. Overall, I was pleased with the space for the amount we paid! The cons of the venue (shared public restrooms, no air conditioning) were communicated up-front, so no surprises there, just plan the best you can!

South Shore Terrace is a beautiful Milwaukee wedding venue tucked between Bayview and Lake Michigan. Perfectly representing both Wisconsin beauty and Milwaukee vibes, it delivers with incredible trees, a fabulous beachfront, and a fantastic beer garden. It's an ideal spot for couples who want it all while keeping things relaxed. The venue provides countless photo opportunities: shenanigans with the wedding party on the beach, tree climbing adventures, golden sunset moments, crazy dance parties, and even late-night lakefront sparklers. Add the possibility of 4th of July fireworks, and you have the recipe for a truly magical celebration!

Very beautiful but not good for summer events unless you love the heat. There was no breeze on the day we were there but the park had 3 huge fans blowing non stop. Plenty of bathrooms but had to fight the public for street parking.

We had our wedding there, and we couldn't have been happier. The price of a park building but the beauty of something much more expensive and the location by the lake - you can't beat it. You need to book SUPER far in advance though to get your event here. After I figured out I wanted our wedding to be here, I literally just accepted the first date they had open and it was more than a year and a half away. This place is a truly unique and lovely venue for a great price, it is hard to compete with it for a wedding or other special event for that size and price. Guests should be made aware ahead of time that parking WILL be challenging. It can be stressful if it is a surprise for them. There isn’t a parking lot, and many people live in this area and visit the park, so you’re parking amongst locals. Separately, we go to the beer garden often to hang out and eat, and it is wonderful. I love that we can bring kiddos and dogs!

Very efficient staff with a wide variety of libations and food options. I liked the cheese curds, A LOT! We had a surprise birthday party that worked out quite well!

Clean, friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. It is a great place to bring the family for a bite to eat or just to chill and hang out.

Wonderful place down on the lake with some great food and places to relax and congregate. We'll be enjoying here a lot more going forward.
