River House at Southern Light

River House at Southern Light was the most beautiful and perfect place for our daughter’s wedding this past Saturday. Gorgeous property and scenery. Ms. Denise was so accommodating and quickly answered any questions we had. I will always recommend this venue to a everyone!

Ms. Denise is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet and very easy to work with. This property is a hidden gem in Clarksville. We had a wonderful experience at the River House in Clarksville. The home was absolutely beautiful, and everything was spotless from the moment we arrived. You can tell great care goes into maintaining the property. It was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy our stay. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and well-kept place to stay. We would definitely love to come back!

If I could do it all over again, I would!!! My wedding weekend was an absolute dream thanks to Denise and the River House team. She was SO accommodating and readily available to answer any questions. Half of our wedding came from out of town and they all noted how incredible the views/scenery were. VERY reasonably priced for all that is included. If you’ve found this venue, stop searching and book immediately!

I absolutely LOVE this venue and the owner. It is beautiful!!! Denise is so sweet and helps you with any questions/concerns or needs you may have! This venue is perfect if you need space for guest to stay, rehearsal dinners, or a venue that has options for outside or inside just in case it rains!

Absolutely Fabulous Place! I have catered there several times. The kitchen is perfect to work in. Denise is superb to work with. I promise you need to go visit for your event.

We held my daughters wedding at River House on 12/11/21. I can not say enough about how beautiful this place is or how accommodating the owners are….From the first time we visited the venue in July until the morning of her wedding. Just after a huge storm front/tornado came through just north of us, they bent over backwards to make this day special for my daughter. The amenities you get with this property are just way too many to list but every closet is filled with items you can use to put on any event. Table linens, silver chaffing dishes, drink dispensers, beverage tubs, candles sticks, center pieces, just little stuff everywhere that you can borrow. The tables already have linens on them and the staff will move them around wherever you need them. Being able to stay on site the entire weekend made the weekend so much smoother. Having a B&B, wedding chapel, and reception lodge as well as room for 200 guests if you choose to use the outside deck all on one property is something that no one else in the immediate area can offer. I highly recommend River House for any major event that you are looking for a venue!
