I recommend this hotel if you are in Broward location. It’s quiet, clean and very nice staff. The only down side is the parking is one block away but everything else is excellent. We check in early with no issue. I request some stuff I need and they are very fast to bring to my room. Jules the man who delivered the stuff to my room is get joy and happy. He brightens the day 😃.. thank you
Sasha at the front desk has been so helpful and friendly! Coming from a long flight, she answered all my questions and made sure everything went smoothly for my stay. I appreciate the hospitality from her. The housekeeping staff has also been so amazing. They are very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend everyone book here if rooms are available!
The staff at this location is stellar. Amazing treatment , they were all very personable. Wendy at the registration desk is a god sent. The rooms are large and clean. The pool is beautiful and clean. The community bar and restaurant food was delicious and again the staff was amazing. Highly recommend staying here!
Dear General Manager, I have been staying at the Sheraton Suites Plantation for 11 days. At the beginning of my stay, I asked the front desk if I could use the small conference room in the lobby as a workspace. I was told that it was available on a first-come, first-served basis. Based on that information, I have worked there every day during my stay. Today, while I was working in the room, I was told that it had been rented. I completely understand that the hotel has the right to rent the room, and I would have left immediately if I had been informed politely. My concern is not that the room was rented, but the way the situation was handled. There was no sign on the door indicating that the room had been reserved or was unavailable. Because I had been told the room was first come, first served, I had every reason to believe it was available. The staff member asked me to leave in a rude and unprofessional manner. At the same time, the guest who had rented the room repeatedly said, "Dude, get out. Get out. What’s your problem?" I felt embarrassed and disrespected by the entire interaction. If the room can be rented for private use, I believe there should be clear signage whenever it is reserved. This would prevent misunderstandings for hotel guests. I also hope your staff will communicate with guests more respectfully in situations like this. As a guest staying at your hotel for an extended period, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. I am disappointed by how this situation was handled and would appreciate your response. I hope this matter can be addressed so that future guests do not have a similar experience.
I've been staying here on and off for 2 months now for work. At first the hotel is appealing. Large rooms with a living room and a desk to work at. Location is good with a good selection or restaurants and even a cigar bar within walking distance. There's even a liquid space directly across from the hotel if you need to book a meeting. Staff, from the front desk to the bar is ice and helpful. But in the I've been staying here as I go from room to room, there are issues. There's a problem in every room. At first it's something small. But a temporary inconvenience after weeks becomes issues. One room the electrical outlets don't work. Others, the bar that holds the shower curtain sags so you can't close it. Another, the blinds don't close all the way. In every room. In. Evey. Room. The smoke detector is located right over the bed and flashes a bright flash. Every room. It's probably code , but man. The worst. Id say about 30% of the time I've stayed here, there's no Internet. It goes down all the time. The restaurants and shops that are feet from the hotel have internet. Just not the hotel, and where you are here for work, hours of no Internet can be devastating. I don't know if it's worth the large room for long stays if ultimately, I cant work while I'm here. There are other wifi signals associated with the hotel and the front desk has access but I'm never offered access. Just frustrating.
