Little India Restaurant & Bar 6th Avenue

This was my first time at Little India on 6th, and it definitely won’t be my last. We ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were incredible. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was our server, Ani. He surprised us with a complimentary appetizer and brought out different sauces for us to try, explaining everything along the way. We felt so welcomed, taken care of, and genuinely prioritized the entire meal. It’s rare to find service that makes you feel that special. I can definitely see why this place has been a Denver favorite for so long. Great food is one thing, but amazing hospitality is what keeps people coming back. Thank you, Ani, for making our day so memorable!

First off… wow absolutely amazing….the food is a 10 out of 5 stars. My wife and I had multiple items here and every single dish was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant, it is the peak of what fine Indian cuisine of Colorado should be known for. Let’s just say my wife and I made an hour drive from springs to this restaurant. Also the staff was amazing, so friendly, outgoing and they treated us like family. Our server was Elvin and he was beyond welcoming, he was a fantastic server and so friendly. He treated me and my wife with so much respect and kindness! He is an extraordinary human being! He made an already amazing experience into a memory that will last a lifetime.

AMAZING food!!! My new favorite in Denver after I had the paneer butter masala the other day. It was FANTASTIC and the waitress, Harshada, gave us some hot sauce on the side just in case it wasn’t spicy enough. It was so sweet and thoughtful! The restaurant is also really beautiful with hand painted walls and pretty light fixtures. I will definitely be back!

Alven was a wonderful waiter!! He was very charismatic and fun! The service was really good, wait times for drinks were kinda long but understandable! Our host was sweet and welcoming and the runner was efficient and cool. Food got out really quick and was absolutely delicious, and pretty too. My parents loved coming here back when it first opened and almost 30 years later it’s still just as good! Thank you for a wonderful night!!

food was phenomenal, we ordered chicken tandoori, butter chicken, garlic naan, plain naan and of course dessert, the molten lava cake. everything tasted super good but what stood out was our servers exceptional service. he made sure to take care of our every need, and made us feel at home. if i’m ever in denver again, ill be sure to stop by again.

I do appreciate that Little India is open all day and night, and that they will deliver anytime. However, I didn’t have a great experience. It took the driver 40 minutes after leaving the restaurant to deliver my food at 2:00am on a Tuesday. I live 8 minutes away. All this was only mildly annoying to me. The worst part of this experience was the food. I ordered chicken Madras and garlic naan, which are common items for me to order at other restaurants. The Madras is a concerning shade of artificial red and it tastes exactly how it looks- bad. The naan is terribly dry with about 15% of its surface having any garlic. Is this food worth it considering the 2am convenience? Not really.

atmosphere= genuinely one of the most beautiful, authentic looking indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service= Harshada was our server, and she made our experience exceptional from start to finish. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food and culture. I highly recommend asking for her. food = 10/10, delicious!!!! we live close by, definitely will be back!
