BPSO - Bali Wedding & Pre Wedding Photography

My partner and I had our doubts about hiring a photographer for our wedding because both of us were the type to get nervous in front of a camera. We read some great reviews on how Mas Duwi took his picture, so we decided to hire him. It turned out to be the best decision we made for this special event because we loved every single photo that he took! He understood our discomfort on getting our pictures taken, so he took lots of candid shots and never tried to micromanage us into doing poses. Even when suggesting some photo opportunities, he was very tactful. We also loved how he managed to capture memorable moments from our guests that we didn't get to see but can reminisce about through his pictures. Despite the erratic weather, we enjoyed the family shoot with Duwi, who was patient and knew how to make the kids feel comfortable. The shots he captured were consistent with the good quality ones in his portfolio.

As soon as we finalized our plans to visit Bali this spring I went on a googling spree to find a Balinese photographer who had the dreamiest aesthetics. And Duwi from BPSO was the one!! Most Balinese businesses communicate through Whatsapp, which is where I first reached out to Duwi. He replied almost instantly and was super patient with my many questions. He gave me several location options and was so easy to work with. On the day of the shoot, sure enough he was right there waiting for us at the first location. It was almost like hanging out with a friend or relative, he made our family feel very comfortable. He got so many great shots of us and even still, he would ask if we had any special requests for poses and such. We ended up booking BPSO for two different locations and the price for both was absolutely worth it. We chose the Tegalanglang Rice Fields and the Blangsinga Waterfalls and felt like we almost had our own private tours of both places. It was amazing! We got to download all of the photos before we even left Bali a few days after our shoot, and then the edited photos came shortly after. 100% would hire BPSO again the next time our family visits Bali.

At Shunyata Villas Bali, we had Duwi handle our photoshoot, and the impact has been amazing. Our new photos have driven more bookings. We strongly recommend Duwi for any hotel or resort. He is an expert in his craft. With best equipment and a lot of good ideas the shooting was a complete success. He was very professional and ended up taking more photos than agreed without even asking for an extra charge! It's not the cheapest photographer you will find here in Bali, but by far the best!!!!!

I chanced upon Duwi’s portfolio while I was searching for photographers to engage during my trip to Bali. He was friendly over text messages and prompt in his reply. During the photoshoot, my children were not in their best of moods but he was very patient and understanding towards the situation. He also tried his best to encourage our children and made them feel comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a wedding at our chosen venue which in turn restricted the areas we could shoot. Despite that, Duwi managed to find possible areas for us. He also suggested possible poses and after that he asked us if there were any poses we would like to photograph. I received the RAW files and edited photos within 2 weeks. The RAW files were good enough and the edited pictures I received today was beautiful. Definitely recommend Duwi and his services. We spontanously hired Duwi for our traditional Wedding blessing (Budaya village: highly recommended!) on Bali and we are happy with the quality of the pictures. Although the communication before was quite shortly he was very enthusiastic and active during the shooting and the ceremony. He has a good eye for portraits and close ups/details, but he is also very good in reportage photography. We recieved all raw pics day after the wedding as well as a lot of edited pics a week later, as promised. And the price is more than fair.
